The Daniela Dwyer Foundation’s very first Race Day was a resounding success, made possible by the kind and generous support of our sponsors, donors, and every guest who joined us. It was a day filled with racing, community spirit, and most importantly, hope.

$32,000 Raised for Brain Cancer Research 🎉

We are thrilled to share that an incredible $32,000 was raised on the day. These funds go directly towards advancing brain cancer research and driving forward our goal of establishing an early intervention blood testing platform. This milestone could not have been reached without the contribution of our attendees, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you.

Event Highlights

The program was expertly guided by our exceptional MC, Tim Gavel, who kept the day running smoothly. Auctioneer Jason Roses once again brought his energy to the room, sparking lively bidding and great fun. We were also treated to an entertaining talk by Barbara Joseph, who shared her journey to becoming one of the region’s top horse trainers.

Our auction items, made possible by the generosity of our donors, were another highlight, showcasing the strong community backing behind DDF’s mission.

Why We Continue the Fight

While the day was a success, we were reminded of the urgency of our mission. Among the 110 guests, three shared their own stories of how brain cancer has affected their lives. This heartbreaking statistic reinforces why we must keep pushing for new treatments and better outcomes for patients and families.
